Social Media Tool Kit
Social media is one of the best ways to to fundraise to help homeless pets. Whether you tweet, post, Instagram, or Snap a photo, share why you are fundraising for PAWS Chicago in your own words. It's quick, easy, and can have enormous results.
When sharing content, please be sure to include a link to your personal fundraising page so your followers can help you reach your goal. Your personal page URL can be found in the "PERSONAL PAGE" tab of your participant center.
And don't forget to tag us! @pawschicago or #pawschicago.
So what makes for a good social media post? Here are a few examples:
- Feature a particular animal: Explain why you are dedicating your fundraising to PAWS Chicago. Tell us about your own pet or choose a PAWS Chicago dog or cat from our foster, adoption or alumni pages and tell us why this animal inspired you to raise funds for PAWS Chicago.
- Milestones: Did you break a personal or fundraising goal? Tell your friends and family! Be sure to include the link back to your fundraising page and remind people there are still animals in need of help.
- In need of help: Explain why PAWS Chicago was founded and tell people about the nearly 10,000 animals that still need to be rescued each year. You can also share the costs associated with saving dogs and cats, and request donations for a particular amounts like $25 or $100.
Social media images:
